MARIAM GREY RETURN POLICY
PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY. THIS POLICY CONTAINS THE TERMS GOVERNING RETURN, REFUND, CANCELLATION, SHIPPING AND OTHER ISSUES RELATING TO YOUR USE OF MARIAM GREY.AFRICA AND OTHER PLATFORMS OPERATED BY MARIAM GREY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL THESE TERMS, YOU SHOULD NOT USE THIS INTERNET-BASED PLATFORM.
PRELIMINARY MATTERS
1. RECOMMENDATIONS.
A. Mariam Grey recommends that you carefully check items ordered through the Mariam Grey platform. Mariam Grey is committed to processing orders placed through the Mariam Grey platforms as accurately as possible.
B. If the product delivered to you is damaged, you should not accept delivery of the product. If you discovered the damage after opening the package, the product may be eligible for return and refund.
2. DEFINITION
‘Return’ refers to the action of a user of the Mariam Grey platform giving back the product ordered on the Mariam Grey platform.
Subject to the other terms of this policy and other policies on the Mariam Grey website, Return may be possible in the following cases:
A. Where the products delivered do not match your order;
B. Where the products delivered were damaged in transit, in which case, you should not accept delivery; and
C. Where products delivered are past or near their expiry dates, that is, where, in the case of medicines, the expiry date is less than 3 months from the date of delivery.
3. TIME TO INITIATE RETURN
You should reach out to Mariam Grey’s customer care to make a return request within 3 days of the occurrence of any of the scenarios described in paragraph (2) above. If the return request is not made within the stipulated time frame, Mariam Grey may not honour the return request.
4. PROCEDURE AFTER RECEIVING A RETURN REQUEST
Upon receiving a return request, Mariam Grey shall take steps to verify the genuineness of the claims, and if satisfied, shall approve a return of the product(s) and refund of the monies paid, if any.
Please note that Mariam Grey shall process the refund only once it has received the confirmation from the vendor concerned in respect of the contents of the product(s) relating to that return/refund.
In the event that any complaints regarding the quality and content of the products are adjudged by Mariam Grey as frivolous and/or unjustified, Mariam Grey reserves the right to pursue necessary legal actions against you and you will be solely liable for all costs incurred by Mariam Grey in this regard.
5. CONDITIONS PRECEDENT TO GRANTING A RETURN REQUEST
A. Receipt of confirmation from the vendor concerned in respect of the contents of the product relating to that refund.
B. Confirmation that the return request is not in respect of a wrong ordering of products.
C. Confirmation that the batch number (or any other identifying number) for the product sought to be returned match the one recorded in the accompanying invoice.
D. Ascertainment that the return request is not related to change in prescription.
E. Ascertainment that the product sought to be returned is in its original manufacturer’s packaging with the original bar codes, labels, price tags and invoice in place.
F. Ascertainment that the product(s) have not been used, partially used, or opened in any way.
G. The products sought to be returned are not classified by Mariam Grey as non-returnable products. Mariam Grey will update its non-returnable products category from time to time. The following products are generally treated as falling under the non-returnable product category, namely, health care devices, food and nutrition products, baby care products, sexual wellness products, and temperature-sensitive and other specialty medicines.
6. GENERAL RETURN REQUEST AND IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURE
A. Visit https://mariamgrey.com to initiate a return request.
B. Wait 72 hours for Mariam Grey to confirm whether your claim has been verified.
C. If claim is verified, Mariam Grey will advise you on the collection process or the process for refund. (You will be required to pack the products in the original manufacturer’s packaging).
D. Mariam Grey will strive to complete refund process within 7 days from the date the product was delivered to Mariam Grey and accepted as eligible for refund.
E. Mariam Grey will aim to refund monies paid through the same channel (wallet, bank, or card transfer) by which payment was made to Mariam Grey. Where the order was placed through cash on delivery, refund will be made to a bank account nominated by the user through fund transfer.
7. REFUND IN INSTANCES WHERE A MEDICAL TESTS WAS ORDERED
Mariam Grey will receive and consider a request for refund where the time limit within which the report ought to have been delivered was breached by more than 72 hours without any credible justification.
8. REFUND IN INSTANCES OF MEDICAL CONSULTATION
Mariam Grey will receive and consider a request for refund only where a session is cancelled by Mariam Grey without prior notification and justification. The request must be raised within 72 (seventy-two) hours from the time of submission of query or receiving of response. Refund will be implemented by crediting the bank account of the customer and completed within 7 days from the date of submission of the request for Refund.
9. CANCELLATION POLICY
A. When a user can cancel an order: (i) where the product has not been shipped; (ii) where the sample for the medical test has not been collected.
B. When Mariam Grey may cancel an order: (i) where Mariam Grey is unable to accept the order because of the unavailability of product, inconsistencies in the pricing information provided by partners, or other such similar reasons; (ii) where Mariam Grey considers the order as a bulk order that involves any form of malpractice or scheme that does not serve the interest of Mariam Grey or other stakeholders; and (iii) Where the order contains a prescription medication and the prescription presented had been previously filled completely.
